Good bank for Internet banking & hantar duit balik Msia

Quick question - which bank is recommended for internet banking transactions here (especially nak hantar duit balik ke Msian bank). Bagus ke kalo bukak HSBC account in Qatar & link back to yr HSBC ac in Msia?

bole buka... normally the bank will ask few documentations..
copy of passport, letter from co. stating ur salary and ur position and form of non objection letter (ie. ur salary to be transfered to this bank)
if u open ur account at any local banks, the salary will be on time where as in HSBC, there will be 2 days later ..
but i chose hsbc since i can actually withdraw my money in m'sia.

rinhanekoma, ingin bertanya sedikit mengenai jumlah yang diperlukan untuk membuka akaun (current) samada di local banks atau pun di foreign bank. Insyallah saya akan ke Doha hujung bulan April ini.

here you can open current account without depositing any money at all! at least that is my experience opening my current a/c with Doha Bank. However, I do think that this will only happen if you have all the required documents by the bank as stated. Your company would most probably arrange this for you.

To have some view on the internet banking, why not you browse their websites as some have online demos. I personnally think Malaysian banks are far more ahead than the local banks here in terms of internet banking.

You can remit money with any bank you open.

Thank you for the info and indeed rather unique opening the current account without depositing. Anyway, I will browse through the internet banking available. I do believe since the Company I am joining is a state owned company, definitely they are using local bank eg QNB or others.

aku baru juga 2 bulan kat DOHA ni, amacam accomodation ko kat sini?
tapi kalau pakai HSBC kat sini mcm susah sikitla coz ko nak kena pg HSBC ATM baru boleh ambil rm.local bank dekat sini pun boleh transfer money kat malaysia through nternat banking QR35 sekali transfer for any amount.

normally saya transfer kat msia (maybank) paling lewat pun 3 hari working days kat msia tu.

Just found out I could not transfer money home using Doha Bank internet banking - only from the counter by telex at QR35 charge per transaction (Mesian bank may charge additional?).

I know QNB charge QR40 (online), ada org ada experience dgn bank lain?

Wak kirim duit online pakai HSBC...fast and reliable....other banks..might be slow...kalau nak lagi cepat...beratur je kat Qatar-UAE Exchange...kat depan Carrefour City Centre...

tadi ke Al-Jazeera Exchange,

Dia orang charge komisen qr35 untuk hantar ke RM manakala qr50 untuk hantar dalam USD.

Dah tanya kenapa berbeza kadar komisen antara dua matawang kat atas tapi pinoy kat kaunter x boleh jawab.

1. Boleh siapa2 jelaskan tak pasal perbezaan kadar komisen ni?
2. Apa pula beza hantar dalam RM @ USD? sedangkan semuanya akan ditukar ke RM bila sampai Malaysia?

Untuk makluman, saya hantar qr1165 & sampai Malaysia RM 1081. Exchange rate = 0.928116. Lost 71.89%. Saya bank in ke akaun saya dengan Public Bank.

tumpang tanya... ada sesiapa alami masalah dgn hsbc? sebab saya jumpa banyak sangat bad reviews about hsbc doha. hampir 100% orang yang saya tanya verbally pun cakap hsbc doha service paling teruk. saya tengah survey2 bank mana paling sesowai... in malaysia saya pakai hsbc, jadi ingat nak buka account hsbc jugak utk memudahkan urusan transfer duit every month. any guidance or comments is highly appreciated. thanks
